HOMETOWN LEGEND COMEDIAN GARY MULE DEER TO PLAY DEADWOOD MOUNTAIN GRAND

DEADWOOD, S.D. – Born in Deadwood and raised in Spearfish, hometown legend comedian and musician Gary Mule Deer has performed on nearly every major concert stage in the country. He’s made over 350 television appearances including many on both The Tonight Show and David Letterman and on Friday, January 31st he will play his first ever show at Deadwood Mountain Grand.

Clint Eastwood has called him ‘The funniest man in America’ and for good reason. Gary Mule Deer’s comedy and music have set him apart as one-of-a-kind. He is currently featured on the DVDs Jeff Foxworthy’s Comedy Classics and The World’s Greatest Stand-up Comedy Collection.  Gary is one of the most played comedians on Sirius XM’s Laugh USA.

Gary appears regularly on the Grand Ole Opry. And in a career spanning over five decades, he has shared the stage with more than a hundred music legends. He has performed everywhere from Carnegie Hall to Royal Albert Hall, and has been part of the Johnny Mathis Show as Special Guest since 1994 in major venues across the country.

In addition to his well-known comedy, Gary is a talented singer and musician, performing classic country, including the music of Johnny Cash in his show since the ‘60s. The popularity of Gary Mule Deer’s comedy and music cuts across all ages and demographics.

“We are so happy to finally be hosting the legendary Gary Mule Deer,” said Deadwood Mountain Grand General Manager, Susan Kightlinger. “I can’t believe it’s taken us nearly 10 years to get him on our main stage, so we’re thrilled it’s finally happening.”

Tickets go on sale for Deadwood Mountain Grand Reward Members at 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 5th and to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday, November 8th. They will be available at the Deadwood Mountain Grand Box Office – The Company Store – or at ticketmaster.com. Both hotel reservations and ticket arrangements may be made by calling 877-907-GRAND. Please be aware of third party ticket brokers as Ticketmaster is the only official ticket outlet for Deadwood Mountain Grand.
